JUNTO: A BRAZILIAN-LEBANESE FUSION RESTAURANT
This collaboration of Brazilian and Lebanese cuisines provides an experience like no other. In the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, Junto is located in an eclectic building on the main strip of the city. Designed with millennials in mind, the experience of this restaurant is just as unique as the food collaboration.
Junto focuses on togetherness {that is the actual meaning of 'Junto' in Portuguese}. This restaurant provides a space for everyone to gather with long, communal tables as well as conversation cards on every table, just to ease the experience. The focus is not only the quality of the food, but also how the customers feel in the space.
On the other hand, I wanted the food to embody the idea of combining two non-traditional cuisines into one dish. It was not easy, but with the intentional branding of the Utah tree as well as the environmental influences, I was able to morph these two together.
